Note: You may now register, download and use IGoWhen.
We have not completed the payment portion yet which means you may use the program for free for the time being.
You can create custom messages to show up on the IGoWhen application by putting special characters in the Google Calendar Event Description. Normally IGoWhen ignores the description field and it can be used for notes about the event. You can still put notes in the description field and add the custom IGoWhen text after the notes.
The Event Description is on the Event Edit page.
IGoWhen looks for the tilde character '~' and uses any text between the first tilde and the second tilde as IGoWhen messages.
If you have used the IGoWhen application, you know that there is a Time-Till-Start message, a Time-Till-End message and an optional Actual-Time message.
The Time-Till-Start and Time-Till-End messages are shown on the first line of the event depending on if the event is started yet.
The Actual-Time message is shown on the 2nd line of the event if the setting "show actual time line" is checked.
Therefore you can specify a custom text for each of those messages by separating them with the pipe character '|'.
